Salud is a new-age alcoholic beverages company that is all about bringing people together and Celebrating Life. In fact, they are almost as much a lifestyle brand as they are a beverage brand. To this end they have a range of RTD mixes, craft spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. When we first met them, they were on the verge of a massive launch but they'd hit a snag.
Through no fault of their own, a holdup in the bottle manufacturing process meant there were no finished products available to shoot for the marketing materials. The ongoing issue threatened to delay the entire launch and this was going to have serious revenue implications. They needed an alternative solution urgently.
We knew that timing was of the essence so had to be quick and creative in devising our plan of action. We proposed a 100% digital asset creation solution using high-poly 3D models. This was supported with a combination of high quality renders and advanced photography morphing techniques to replace all planned shoots with virtual staging.
Our CGI experts worked closely with Salud's designers to review concept artwork and develop guidelines for the packaging details of the new products.
Using a combination of realistic modeling with advanced physics replication and high poly rendering, we produced life-like images of full bottles.
We meticulously incorporated the package artwork, including branding and regulatory information on the labels to create a completed asset.

We added animations to highlight distinctive features and used special effects for dynamic elements, such as condensation, sparkle, bubbles, liquid flow etc.
The launch was a huge success and the client was satisfied on multiple levels. Firstly, having a virtual launch was a modern and unusual take, which brought in a lot of publicity. This then gained even more traction on social media as the momentum continued. At a strategic level, the campaign prompted the Salud to re-examine its entire brand management strategy and they have chosen us as their brand strategy partner.
The success of the launch can largely be put down to the quality of the work that was produced in a short time and at a crucial moment for our client. The assets were so well produced that they are capable of going beyond their original purpose and can be used for future applications in virtual reality and digital or traditional advertising. In fact, as the client commented himself, “The model was a fantastic imitation of the actual product, and this made the transition from physical to virtual indistinguishable”
